I need to write this post, because not only do I think it is so important, but I am finding that more and more, I am repairing half-hearted hairstyles done by other stylists who are hired by a bride at the same time as me to do some of the bridal party. Please note - This DOES NOT include any stylists who you book THROUGH me to do your wedding hair, as we will always stay to the very end, or until you kick us out! I will try to keep this as short as possible… It is so important to really look in to a bridal hairstylist before you decide to book them...

What a day this was! A gorgeous, rustic Yorkshire wedding, perfect in every way. Myself (Max It Up Bridal Hair) and Amie (Locks of Luxe) had the total pleasure of styling Katie and her bridal party, and what a morning it was. I am going to milk this, because I had a little bet with a few stylist friends as to what styles would be huge in 2022/3, and I was right! The styles are Hollywood Waves and a softly textured, airy, high bridal updo....

Gosh, I have been neck deep in trials, weddings, & hair extensions, so I've not blogged for a while. I have a ton of photos I need to upload on to this site too, but I'm waiting for professional photos as they will always be better than any I can take - Please check back regularly to see some really gorgeous brides being added very soon. Today, I did a trial for this beauty. She knew exactly what she wanted, a high bridal bun, and when I saw her dress, I knew she'd made the right choice...

I am featured once again in Unconventional Wedding!... A gorgeous Winter Wonderland Wedding Styled Shoot I had the honour of being a part of has been published by the hugely popular and respected Unconventional Wedding. Super proud to be a part of this. It was the best day ever, even though we worked outside in freezing temperatures, we loved it! Gorgeous mugs of hot chocolate and home-made chocolate brownies supplied by Sammy from Willow & Rust (whose concept this was) kept the cold at bay...

I thought I'd write a little blog about hair extensions, because this is a service I've offered for seven years now, and I am finding more and more of my brides to be are asking for permanent extensions...

I had to include this little clip of my gorgeous bride-to-be, Olivia in a blog. I mean, look at that style! She knew exactly which style she wanted, she found the it on my Instagram page (click HERE to follow me!) She chose this for her wedding hair. She was originally booked in for two trials but she doesn't need the second, she found this style at her first and fell in love. And so did I! It is quite a lengthy style, as it is built up in a certain way to achieve all of that gorgeous volume and height. No one can quite work out how the style is created (unless you're a stylist!), so it is sure to turn heads on her special day. Olivia has THE most gorgeous dress, seriously beautiful. Along with her stunning looks, her hair, and 'that dress', she is going to look like a real life princess. I will share photos from Olivia's big day late February I hope, so be sure to check back. Another 'pinch me' moment indeed! We've just been voted Wedding Blog of the Year 2021 over on Unconventional Wedding for our Galaxy Themed Styled Shoot!
